Captain Sean Dolan killed in Afghanistan

Another brave British soldier sacrificed to global zionism

It is with profound sadness that the Ministry of Defence must confirm the death of Captain Sean Dolan of 1st Battalion, The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters in southern Afghanistan on Saturday 30 June 2007.

He was acting as a liaison officer between the Battalion and a joint US task force and Afghan National Army operation in an area south-west of Sangin, northern Helmand province

At approximately 0900 local time the combined coalition forces engaged a substantial group of Taliban that were setting up a possible ambush site near to the village of Qaleh-e-Gaz.

Following the engagement a vehicle belonging to the coalition force was struck by an explosion as it moved to south of the village. Whilst destroying the vehicle to deny it to the enemy, the coalition force was engaged by taliban fire, resulting in Capt Dolan's injury.

Captain Dolan was medically evacuated to the ISAF hospital at Camp Bastion but sadly did not survive.

"This is simply the biggest blow that I have suffered in 23 years service and I know that all ranks of 1st Battalion The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment and all that knew Sean, will be feeling the same." Quote: Lt Col Richard Westley MC, Commanding Officer"
