Normal service, again !!

The Linux distro I use has had a couple of very major upgrades over the last couple of weeks meaning I have had three tux machines in various phases of not working if you get my drift. This wasn't the fault of the OS but the Linux devs in their infinite wisdom decided to screw around with packages and apps that were ok to begin with and in so doing, borked them. Hopefully this is now all behind us with the last of the 'systemically non compliant' machines working (as I type in fact) so hopefully we will indeed be back to normal service after the weekend.
