Whites written out of Western history

I happened across this short but thought provoking post at the HDB Books site. The full article with (some very warped and bizarre) comments can be found at the link. Here is what it says:

Reader Billy Chav informed me [..] that on the cover of his daughter’s European history textbook is a black man. Here it is.

"It’s been long obvious that the way we’re going whites have no future in this world. The liberals are out to make sure that they don’t have a past either.

The commentator informs me that the man on the cover is Juan de Perea. A slave...

Juan de Perea came to New México from Guadalupe del Paso with the reconquest colonists. He and his wife were nuptial witnesses at Santa Fé in 1694. He was a soldier, a native of New México, and thirty years in 1697. His wife, Aldonsa Varela, and he were both dead by 1701, when their daughter, Maria Luisa, widow of Miguel Maese, married Augstín Luján.

In other words, he’s nobody."

WHY.. That Cheeky Monkey !!!!

POLICE have begun a fraud inquiry after a Conservative peer received more than £70,000 in expenses by claiming to live in his mother’s home, which had been sold off when she died.

The move follows a Sunday Times investigation last month which raised serious questions about the probity of Lord Taylor of Warwick’s expense claims.

Taylor, a former barrister, part-time judge and university chancellor, was claiming allowances for peers living outside London when his home has been based in the capital for 18 years.

He attempted to claim his main address was in Solihull, West Midlands, between 2001 and 2007 because he was looking after his sick mother. However, she died in 2001 and her house was sold at the time.

Everybody say Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh..

Seems like Simon has got all misty eyed about not being with Nick and Andrew in Brussels this week.

He says in his blog: "Nick and Andrew arrived in Strasbourg today for another session of the European parliament. I am in two minds whether or not to be upset about not being there with them and might join them later in the week if there is not too much going on over here."

Nah that's ok Simon, nothing going on here mate. Nothing of any urgency to hold sway for you here. You fuck off to Brussels and have a nice time. We'll just carry on swirling down the shit house till you get back...

I posed the question in his comments with regard to who will be paying his travel costs if he decides to go. Will he be squandering going at the expense of the party or will he be 'Going Dutch' as they say. I won't hold my breath to see if he even approves my post, he never does, I'm to 'dissident' for his taste. Now I could be wrong but I'm pretty certain only two people were elected to the EU parliament not three?.

Not that I'm complaining or anything. For me he can go and stay there. What the hell does that bloke actually do anyway?. And how much is it costing their members to convey this superfluous appendage back and forth week in week out and to what useful purpose other than to show off his Nokia or induce mass sleep hypnosis with his inane babble about tweety birds all the way there and back?.

Handsome is as handsome does... L to R: Joseph Hadji, Jason Goode, Thijseen Johns Elliot, (bottom row, from the left) Ashanti Kumpati, Vigil Percival, and Paul Wigan

A ruthless gang has been convicted of kidnapping and torturing a friend of Lily Allen. The 25-year-old victim and his teenage friend feared they would be killed when they were seized at gunpoint before being subjected to a constant barrage of extreme mental and physical pain during their week-long ordeal.

The terrified pair were even forced to record desperate pleas for help on a dictaphone which was sent to their relatives along with demands for a £90,000 ransom. The hostages, who cannot be named, were found in a dramatic rescue when cops swooped on the gang's strong-hold. They were found handcuffed behind their backs dressed in plastic bin bags and stuffed in the boot of a car.

Judge John Price said the men face a long time in prison, he said: 'They are going to be very, very substantial prison sentences for a vile and cruel crime.' Shortly after the rescue in August last year the pop star publicly thanked police for saving her pals when she appeared on stage at a gig.

The hostages had been told they were about to be freed but feared the worst as they were stripped and scrubbed to remove traces of DNA before being led to the waiting car and ordered to lay down in the boot.

CCTV footage played in court showed Allen's friend and his 18-year-old companion confronted by six well-built men who walked into the sports shop where the pair worked in Ladbroke Grove. Guns were held to their head as the gang threatened to shoot them, beat them and drag them out of the store and into the boot of a waiting car.

The hostages were kept in the gang's stronghold - a house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Thamesmead, south east London. Gangsters repeatedly threatened to kill them, fed them just once a day and kept them handcuffed with tape over their eyes for almost seven days. Laughing gang members kicked them while they were on the floor and one day they had to lay face down on what they believed were electrical wires sticking in their backs.

Another time they were forced to watch a sickening DVD depicting torture and sadism which was played on a loop for the entire day. During the trial the jury were told the gang may have targeted the pair because the 18-year-old's brother was believed to be a drug dealer with access to large sums of money.

He handed over £20,000 in cash, but called police when he received demands for a further £70,000. Cops swooped after staking out the hide-out - a house rented by gang member Ashanti Kumpati, 28, Thamesmead, south east London, and spotted the two hostages being bundled into a car in the early hours.

Kompati and Paul Wigan, 29, from Catford, south east London, both pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and blackmail at an earlier hearing. Joseph Hadji, 27, of Queen's Park, west London, admitted two counts of kidnap and one count of blackmail.

Jason Goode, 27, of Hither Green, south east London, was convicted of two counts of false imprisonment and cleared of a charge of blackmail. Thijseen Johns-Elliott, 28, of Sydenham, south London, was found guilty of two counts of false imprisonment and one of blackmail.

Virgil Percival, 36, of Stoke Newington, north London, was convicted of kidnap and blackmail. They will be sentenced on October 12. Police say five other members of the kidnap gang are still at large.

Mother-of-three died in pub as paramedic 'stood outside and refused to help'

The family and friends of a woman who died after collapsing in a pub have called for action to be taken against a paramedic who they say refused to help her. Melissa Procter-Blain, 32, suffered a heart attack at The Crown in Spondon, Derbyshire.

The pub's manager has told how the lone woman paramedic who first responded to the 999 call initially parked outside the wrong premises and then refused to enter the bar. The woman then allegedly refused to try to resuscitate the mother-of-three on her own and that one of the pub's customers had to step in until back-up arrived.

Landlady Michelle Doherty, 34, is now calling for the paramedic to be suspended while an investigation into the incident is conducted. She said: 'We were waiting outside for the ambulance and we saw the paramedic had parked outside a garage down the road.

'A young lad ran from the pub down to tell her she was in the wrong place but came back and said she wouldn't come in. 'My partner Kevin then ran down to talk to her and she said she wasn't authorised to go into a pub alone and would only come in if he could guarantee her safety, which he did.'

East Midlands Ambulance Service had logged the incident as a category A - potentially immediately life-threatening - and sent a fast-response vehicle, which arrived within six minutes, and an ambulance, which arrived within ten minutes.

A spokesman said the solo responder paramedic took the life-saving kit from her vehicle into the pub but had described the atmosphere as tense and intimidating. But witnesses in the pub dispute this claim. Ms Doherty said that while her partner spoke to the paramedic, one of her customers, Leanne Dono, was on the phone to a 999 operator.

She claimed the controller told her the sole responder would begin trying to resuscitate Miss Procter-Blain. Miss Dono said she then spoke to the paramedic, who said she was not authorised to carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on her own.

Council workers get two days extra pay for using the lift

Council workers are being paid an extra two days' salary a year in travel expenses - for standing in a lift.

Staff at Rochdale Council's Municipal Office dishes out thousands each year for claims of up to five minutes for employees travelling each day from the entrance of the building - known as the black box - to their desks.

So, during a standard 36-hour week, staff are allotted 25 minutes lift time, meaning they only have to spend 35 hours and 35 minutes working. Over the course of a year this adds up to almost 20 hours - well over two working days - when they are effectively being paid for using the lift.

The system was introduced more than 20 years ago when staff complained of waits of up to 10 minutes to catch a lift. They claimed they were being unfairly penalised after walking through the front doors on time but clocking in on their own floors late.

Since then the lifts have been updated and the waits are a thing of the past, but the system has remained the same.

Ramadan: A Guide for NHS staff

Excerpts from a leaflet the NHS are sending out to all its employees on how they should observe Ramadan, or if not Muslim then how they should react to Ramadan….

These notes are intended for all staff. It is intended to increase understanding about the month of Ramadan and offers advice on how to be supportive of colleagues and service users.

The end of Ramadan is celebrated with Eid-ul-Fitr on the first day of the tenth month of the Islamic calendar Shawwal (on or around Saturday 19th September 2009).

During Ramadan Muslims will get up before dawn for a meal called "suhur". When the sun goes down, most Muslims will ‘break’ the fast with either dates or water. This will be followed by a meal called “iftar”. During Ramadan iftar is an occasion for family, friends and community get together. This year Ramadan falls when days are longer, this means a longer fast than in the past few years so there may be more consideration needed. The fast will open at approximately 4am and closes at approximately 8.30pm, this means that fasting Muslims will not eat or drink for this period and will only eat outside these hours.

The fasting combined with disturbances in normal sleep pattern can leave individuals feeling a little more tired than normal, particularly towards the end of the day.

All Muslims fast except:

Children, adults who are unwell or travelling long distances, women who are menstruating, pregnant, have given birth, or breast feeding.

Muslim staff may need agreement to requests for flexibility in the working day during Ramadan and although there is no formal right to time off for religious activity we would encourage managers and staff to discuss this openly to agree how they can be supported without impacting on service delivery; through flexibility in working patterns, start/finish times, lunch breaks etc.

It is important to avoid holding events, such as staff meals or away days, during Ramadan if you have Muslim staff. If it is unavoidable please do not be offended if Muslim staff members are unable to participate.

It is not necessary for individuals that are not fasting to abstain from eating or drinking in the presence of Muslims that are fasting.
