One of the pioneers of African film making Senegalese writer Sembene Ousmane has died after a long illness at the age of 84.
He made a total of 10 films during his career. When asked why only 10 he replied "it bees a fuggn 200 mile bike ride to de chemist den you gots pick de filums up again innit mufuggah an dis ole nigga bees dawg tired yanowamsayin".
